<h3>🎥 SEEN: The Film - Darwin Screening &amp; Live Q&amp;A 🎥</h3>When: Tuesday, 25th March 2025 Time: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM (film screening starts at 2:00pm so please arrive early) Where: Lecture Room: WTF 05.03 - Charles Darwin University Waterfront Campus: 21 Kitchener Drive, Darwin City NT. For directions: Take the stairs up to Level 5—it is the only theatre on the right-hand side, next to the kitchen and breakout space. Be part of an inspiring and thought-provoking evening as we screen SEEN: The Film, a powerful documentary exploring the long-term impact of childhood trauma and the journey of healing to create stronger, healthier families and then join our Q&amp;A conversation after the film all about how this relates to supporting families in education environments.This special event includes: ✨ A screening of SEEN: The Film ✨ A live 45-minute Q&amp;A panel with experts &amp; parents featured in the film, and its creators, including;<ul><li>Joe Williams – Parent in the film, ex NRL player</li><li>Sam Jockel – Founder and CEO of ParentTV, and producer of the film</li><li>Child Austraila - Local not for profit organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for children.</li><li>✨ A 1.5 hour professional development session on "Trauma Informed Practice in Early Childhood''.</li></ul>This professional development workshop session will explore trauma-informed practices in Early Years Settings such as ELC, School and OSHC programs, focusing on creating safe environments, consistent routines, and a culture of empathy. It will provide practical strategies for recognising and responding to trauma-related behaviours, backed by research and real-world case studies. Attendees will gain insights into supporting children experiencing trauma and learn how to adapt their practices effectively. The session will also highlight the importance of staff training and self-care, emphasising how well-supported educators can foster healing spaces for children
